Joelion Keung is a skilled viola player, known for her talent and accomplishments in the field of Viola Performance. She obtained her Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, where she received the prestigious Jackie Chan Charitable Foundation scholarship. She continued her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, completing a Master of Arts in Viola Performance under the guidance of Professor James Sleigh and Garth Knox.

        As an all-round orchestral musician, Joelion has had the privilege of performing with various renowned orchestras, including the London Sinfonietta, Hong Kong Philharmonic, Hong Kong Sinfonietta, Macao Orchestra, Sichuan Symphony
Orchestra, City Chamber Orchestra of Hong Kong, Inherit Philharmonic, and the New Music Ensemble. She has been highly regarded for her exceptional skills as a viola player.

        Joelion's talent has taken her to prestigious venues and festivals around the world. She has participated in the Hong Kong Chamber Music Festival's chamber workshop by Toby Hoffman and performed in Vittorio Veneto, Italy with the Magnificent Quartet. In 2018, she had the honour of giving the European premiere of a viola duet work by Scott Slapin. She has also performed as a solo violist in the Royal Academy of Music's Manson Ensemble under the baton of Maestro Oliver Knussen.

        Notable performances in Joelion's career include playing in the Royal Festival Hall under the baton of Maestro Semyon Bychkov and being one of the soloists in the project "Pieces of Eight" led by Dr. PerMagnus Lindborg. She also had the privilege of working with Maestro Tan Dun for his immersive opera "Purity. Transcendence - Immersive Opera in the Courtyard of Chi Lin Nunnery" in 2022.
